Pathologists are medical doctors who specialize in the study of diseases, their causes, and their effects on the human body. They play a crucial role in healthcare by providing essential insights into the nature of illnesses, helping guide treatment decisions, and contributing to advancements in medical knowledge The pathologist's journey begins in the laboratory, where they meticulously examine tissue samples, blood, and other bodily fluids to identify abnormalities at the microscopic level. Armed with their vast knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology, they scrutinize each sample, searching for clues that will unlock the secrets of the disease. With precision and expertise, they identify cellular changes, patterns, and anomalies that provide vital information for diagnosis.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% accurate testing, validation, and timely release of test reports.
• Giving guidance to the Laboratory technicians and other staff of the Lab.
• Educate technicians in the use and limitations of each diagnostic investigation
• Preparing the lab embers, NABL audit and any other audits as applicable.
• Writing pathology reports detailing specimens tested, results of tests, and the final diagnosis.
• Undertaking research to improve identification and testing methods and finding innovative ways to treat disease.
• Undertaking managerial responsibilities, such as planning the workload and staffing of the department.

Key Skills

• Education Qualification: MBBS, MD/ DNB/DCP in Pathology
• Years of Experience: Minimum 3 Years
• Area of Expertise: Cytology, Histopathology, Clinical Pathology, and Routine Biochemistry
• Job Locations: Delhi( Rohini, Yamuna Vihar, Nangloi), Uttar Pradesh (Firozabad)
• Annual Pay Package: 48-60 lacs
